The Lord does not want us to uproot the weeds that are growing among the wheat.
Why not?
Why? because you might uproot wheat.
How?
How? because the fact is that many people don’t believe in God’s love but if they live among people who do believe and try to live good lives – in time they repent and are converted, and by learning new habits of goodness and love they cease to be weeds and become wheat.
Makes sense, eh!
So we have a great responsibility to live good lives and be a light for those who live in the darkness of sin and the night of unbelief.
